Europæisk Guld Medalje til Klubben!!!
Henover weekenden tog Shifu Søren, Dikla og Jakob til European Shaolin Games 2023, der er den største Shaolin konkurrence i Europa. Jakob stillede op i den traditionelle form Qi Xing Quan og vandt guld i sin kategori samt fik en af turneringens højeste score på 9,17 (gennemsnittet lå omkring 7,5).
Vi var den eneste danske delegation, så vi repræsenterede ikke kun klubben men også Danmark. Vi fik invitationen henover sommerferien og det var emeningen Shifu Søren og Dikla kun vil tage derned for at være med i Mødet og ikke i turneringen. Men de pressede på at vi også stillede op og præsenterede danmark. Jakob tog i mod tilbuddet og som skrevet ovenover gik det rigtigt godt.
I fremtiden vil alle klubmedlemmer have muligheden for at tage afsted.
Til European Shaolin Games 2023 stillede over 500 personer fra over 20 lande op. Konkurrencen varede fra d. 18-19 November, og det var muligt at stille op i alle traditionelle hånd- og våbenforme. Konkurrencen blev overset af Abboten af Shaolin Templet Shi Yong Xin 释永信 og Shaolin munkene dømte til konkurrencen.
Mandag d. 20 nov. var der møde i Shaolin Europe Organisationen, som blev stiftet i 2010 for at samle alle der dyrker Shaolin Kung Fu i Europa. Organisationen Har haft hovedsæde i Berlin, Tyskland men er nu flyttet til Wien i Østrig. Formand for Organisationen er Shi Yong Xin som er Overhovedet i Shaolin Templet Kina og er også Overhovedet for Chan Buddhismen (Chan på Kinesisk er = Zen på Japansk). Shaolin Games er en ny konkurrence og har været afholdt for første gang i verden. Den har været afholdt i Asien - Afrika - Syd og Nord Amerika samt Europa. Der skal findes ud af hvor tit Shaolin Games fremover skal holdes - Så det venter vi spændt på.
